Echte Race-Performance ohne die hohen fahrerischen Herausforderungen eines reinen Slalomsegels – mit 2 Cambern und einer schmaleren Masttasche ist das V8 deutlich leichter aufzuriggen, zu halsen und zu starten als ein reines Racesegel. Die einfache Handhabung kann aber nicht über das enorme Leistungspotential hinwegtäuschen – das V8 ist auf Regattabahnen voll konkurrenzfähig und bietet sogar bessere Angleiteigenschaften als einige der fortschrittlichsten Slalomsegel. Dabei ist es sowohl für den Einsatz mit Finne als auch Foil perfekt geeignet.
SAIL FEATURES
Borrowing concepts from the RS:Racing sail line, V8 is the fastest sail you will find that is not a fully race-tuned machine.
Light-weight, stable profile and easier to rig than a full on race sail. Top speed and acceleration will be close to that of the RS:Racing but rigging, gybing and water starting will be easier due to the twin cam setup, slightly reduced downhaul tension and the narrower luff sleeve.
Equally at home on foil or fin, V8 will allow you to get the most out of every session, no matter where you are.
2 mini cams offer the easiest possible rigging of a cambered sail while still providing the benefits of a locked front profile.
