That’s why we choose to make 3Di Foil sails out of Dyneema Aramid, with the Helix SL Load Path in Carbon, running from tack to head, to improve the reactivity and response of the flatwater sails. It translates the wind instantly into forward drive at the flick of your wrist.
Matches the profile of the sail perfectly, giving improved airflow, profile, and stability. Lightweight, because it’s all air, you’ll get effortless rotation. With air in the luff pocket, it helps with waterstarts as well.
Integrated Material Reinforcements
Precision use of the right quantity of materials, placed in the right orientation, results in a sail that is significantly lighter and stronger than any other windsurf sail. Integrated Batten Pockets, Splitting Battens
A 100% seamless and continuous fiber layout, fully integrated tunnel with space for the battens. On all flatwater sails fitted with air cams, the batten pockets split seamlessly from 1 piece in the body to 2 pieces on either side of the air cam, maximizing efficiency and flow. Complex material technology with a smart result.
All Race & Foil Sails are equipped with high % carbon, Pro Battens. The powerhouse battens at the deepest draft of the sail, driving the engine, are fully tapered and progressive. These are more durable and lighter than your more traditional multi-piece battens.
