Mit dem Blade zu segeln fühlt sich geschmeidig und mühelos an – das Segel erledigt die ganze Arbeit. Dank nach vorne gerichteter Profile und reduziertem Druck auf die hintere Hand sind selbst leichte Schwankungen in der Windstärke nicht spürbar. Das Blade erlaubt es dir, dich voll und ganz auf das Windsurfen zu konzentrieren und alles andere zu vergessen. Das neueste Blade wurde von Grund auf neu entwickelt, um die Leistung zu steigern und alle neuesten Entwicklungskonzepte optimal zu nutzen. Die erweiterte XR-Reichweite (Xtended Range) wurde entwickelt, um den Windbereich sowohl bei niedrigen als auch bei hohen Windstärken zu vergrößern: Tiefere, kraftvollere Profile werden durch zusätzliche Spannung in der Segelfläche fixiert, um Kontrolle und Stabilität zu verbessern. Das „Fat Head“-Design, ursprünglich für das S-1 entwickelt, öffnet sich unter Belastung weiter, was die Kontrolle bei starkem Wind und die Windreichweite verbessert. Kleinere Größen haben relativ größere Köpfe, während größere Größen die Kopfgröße für eine bessere aerodynamische Effizienz ausbalancieren.

The Blade delivers 5-batten stability without the traditional weight compromise. Forward driving profiles and reduced backhand pressure mean slight wind variations go unnoticed. The sail does the work; you focus on sailing.

The 026 Blade has been rebuilt from the ground up to increase power and integrate the latest development concepts:

XR Xtended Range: Developed to increase wind range at both the lower AND higher ends. Deeper, more powerful profiles are locked in place with added skin tension to enhance control and stability.

Fat Head: Originally developed for the S-1, the increased head roach opens further under load, improving high-end control and wind range. Smaller sizes have relatively fatter heads whilst bigger sizes balance the head size for better aero efficiency.

DirectConnect: A system of directly connecting the load points of the sail to any hardware – masts, battens and boom. Zero lag means the sail reacts instantly to rider input.

CarbonFusion Trickle-Down: The BladePro construction is trickling down into the Blade, with welded foot panels and carbon load transfer strips in the head and tack.

Gradient Panel Technology: Overlapped corners logically reduce weight, increase strength and control stretch.

The 026 Blade sets a new standard by integrating these design concepts with industry-leading materials, including VX2, SpiderFibre, eM4 as well as the new D6 Dacron in the luff.
